    Welcome to The Art of Word Formation. As there is an increasing demand on using English in real-life and virtual settings, this crash course helps you use words in a more effective manner in daily communication. This course is meant for you if you have basic knowledge of English, and you use spoken or written English in every day life.

    This course has TWO modules which inform you on how words are formed to use them correctly and accurately to communicate your message:

    
    Module 1: Word Class
    Module 2: Affixation

    You will need to allocate half an hour, twice a week to finalise this course. You will need a stable Internet connection to and a computer with a headphone to be able to watch the videos. After you watch the video, you will answer a worksheet to check that you can use words correctly. You can repeat the video as many times as you want until you feel comfortable with content.

    Module 1 introduces you to the concept of "word class", i.e. the different types of words and the function of each type in the sentence. You will watch a video explaining the different word classes of the English language and answer the pop-up questions to check your understanding. You can watch the video as many times as you want until you grasp the concepts. After you finish watching the video, you will answer the exercise for practice.

    Module 2 introduces you to the most famous way in the English language to form new words; it introduces you to AFFIXATION. You will watch a video with pop-up questions which you need to answer. You can watch the video as many times as you want, and then you can answer the exercise.
